Orders & Shipping
-
All orders are fulfilled by a third-party regional retail partner who uses a carrier of their choice. The carrier will be noted in the email you receive upon shipment.
-
Your wine should take no more than 3 days to ship + transit time.
During this time you will receive three emails from your fulfillment provider:
1) A confirmation email for your purchase.
2) A shipment email when the wine has left the warehouse. This will provide a tracking number.
3) An 'Out for Delivery' email on the day your shipment will arrive. -
Orders are fulfilled by licensed retailers on the Bottle Nexus network.
For order inquiries, please contact the retailer’s customer service directly. You’ll find their contact information in your Order Confirmation email. -
We're so sorry to hear that! Please follow these instructions:
1) Take a photo of the external shipping box (the package our wines were shipped in), even if this box is not damaged.
2) Take photos of the damaged wine box(es).
3) Send the photos and a description of the issue to our fulfillment parter support@accelpay.io and copy ciao@sandygiovese.com. -
You know what we're going to suggest first... check your spam (please).
If you do not see anything here please email ciao@sandygiovese.com and we will assist you.
Where to Buy
-
Great question! Two ways:
1) Find a retailer near you on our Sandygiocator (aka map locator) right here. We're a hot seller so we recommend calling the retailer first to make sure they are in stock.
2) Buy directly on our site right here and one of our retailer partners will ship directly to you. *In some select areas of Los Angeles, DoorDash may be able to provide same-day delivery. If that is available at your address, the option will be revealed in the shopping cart once you enter your zip code. We hope to roll same-day delivery out to additional cities later this year.
-
We ship to all U.S. states except: AL, AR, AK, DE, HI, MS, RI, SD, UT. Sign up for our newsletter to find out quickly when we become available in a new market!
About the Wine
-
Great question! Our winery partner has chosen to pursue an even more comprehensive certification called B-Corps Certification from an entity that certifies companies for sustainability at 360 degrees, upholding high standards in all areas, not just farming.
As an agricultural company, they must farm not just organically but prove that they are also preserving and increasing biodiversity on their lands. Chemicals are strictly forbidden. Beyond this, everything from their packaging, to transportation, to energy sources, to employment practices must be sustainable and equitable.
We look forward to adding the B-Corps Certification to our package as soon as it is awarded.

Typically, still wines range between 11-15% alcohol. It is increasingly common to find wines at 14% ABV or more, resulting in a wine with greater alcoholic impact as every half degree of alcohol is significant. Our wines live at a moderate, more gentle 12%. (You can find alcohol percentages on every wine label - check 'em out next time you are at a wine shop!).
We find that an easy-going wine can taste more refreshing and balanced when the alcohol is moderate, but we also HATE hangovers. You can count on all Giovese Family Wines staying as close to a flat 12% as possible. We hope you taste, and feel, the difference!

1 x 3-liter box = 4 x 750mls bottles of wine.
-
Giovese Family Wines will stay fresh at least 6 weeks, and easily more. We always recommend storing the boxes in the refridgerator to prolong their range.
We encourage you to test the boxes' limits but good luck making such delicious wine last that long!
Sustainability
-
One box of wine has 1/10 the carbon footprint of ONE 750ml bottle... and our boxes contain the equivalent of FOUR bottles! In fact, the glass bottle alone accounts for 29% of a wine's carbon footprint. But, "glass is recyclable" you say? True, but only 50% of the bottles used for alcoholic beverages actually gets recycled. Plus, glass uses lots of energy in order to be made from non-renewable natural resources, often dregged from seabeds causing erosion of seashores, harm to marine life, and other negative effects.
By choosing box wine over bottled, you are automatically saving the planet from these extra emissions AND eliminating FOUR glass bottles from landfills and inefficient recycling systems.
HOW GIOVESE FAMILY WINES TAKE THIS A STEP FURTHER:
Our winery partner has chosen to pursue a B-Corps Certification, an entity that certifies companies for sustainability at 360 degrees, upholding high standards in all areas, not just farming.
As an agricultural company, they must farm not just organically but prove that they are enhancing and increasing the biodiversity of their lands. Chemicals are strictly forbidden. Beyond this, everything from their packaging, to transportation, to energy sources, to employment practices must be sustainable and equitable. Even the plastic inside our wine boxes is made from bio-plastic, produced from organic refuse like corn husks and shredded sugar cane as opposed to petroleum-based materials.
We look forward to adding the B-Corps Certification to our package as soon as it is awarded, but rest assured most if not all of these practices are already in place...we're just waiting on the paperwork! ;)
